Thank you so much for all your help and support since I’ve been attending the classes, you are such a lovely teacher and have made the classes just what I was looking for.

Rachel Connolly

I just wanted to say thank you for a fabulous day and all your help and support.

I had a great time and I’m really pleased with what I achieved and look forward to trying something new, at the workshop, very soon.

🔓 We are busy working behind the scenes to get us ready to open in the not too distant future. 🔨 As we stand we havent got a date just yet, but please be patient with us. As soon a we have a set date, our tutors will be getting dates for classes arranged and we will ring each of our weekend and term time students to plan options and dates for rescheduled classes to run. We will also contact those with gift vouchers. ⚒ We must make sure we are safe, ready and our procedures are all in place. 💍 We are lucky we host small class sizes anyway have have a good size space to spread out. 👩🏼‍🏭 We have enough hand tools for each student to have a tool box of their own for their own bench space which cuts down on shared tool use and shared larger tools will have a disinfectant station by it for each use. We are busy working on other areas to make sure we look after all our students who come through our doors. 🗜Our first priority is getting our term time students up to date with missed classes and those who have missed their weekend classes, rebooked and rescheduled. 🧰 We will be in touch with you all individually, you all have different circumstances, concerns, thoughts, plans for 2020 and different schedules and we understand that so want to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable with an option which suits them.

Please call us on 07738957768 or email on hello@workshop925.com if you have any questions. We are not shutting our doors, we are very much waiting for the green light to open government guidelines wise, and we can't wait.

We are still CLOSED and we do not know as yet when it is safe to run classes and can't plan future dates until we know a little more about what the future looks like in terms of virus control.
Those who have classes booked, we will contact you the minute we get the go ahead to open to sort a new date that you can make. We will honour all classes and work with each of you to get back on track, making sure you are as happy as possible with the dates and classes.

A lot have asked if we do online classes. We don't for many reasons. One being set up. I feel online classes that are a success are a success due to a really professional set up, good equipment, lighting and a great amount of skilled editing to make them inspiring and coherent. This takes time to develop and time to run.

However the main reason is we are all about interactive teaching and being there on hand to help you eliminate any blocks which stop you progressing even though online videos and books exist. We talk to you, understand areas you are struggling with and tailor our teaching to each of your individual needs and help you develop. We have students who have struggled for months soldering watching online videos, then they come to see us and we can understand and see what the problem is, tackle the issues and practice the techniques. Sometimes it's the smallest of changes in technique that sees them suddenly solder successfully, and that takes just watching someone's technique in person and being able to help. Sometimes it can be a mental block that stops someone developing, which we can help with in person. We also try to introduce new techniques students may not have heard of. We also have a sense of community amongst the students that come to the workshop which makes it a fantastic, inspiring place to physically be. You as students make it as what it is. This doesnt translate online.

Another reason is that behind the scenes the workshop is being made ready for when we open again, new equipment, admin up to date, plans in place. So, we shall see you soon, not online but in person with a cup of tea, a biscuit and a positive, encouraging environment. For now, back to Xero accounting admin😵
