WHAT DOES THE DAY INVOLVE?

This two-day intensive course at Workshop 925 is ideal for jewellers of all experience levels from beginners to professionals who want to master the fundamentals of hand-pushed engraving.

Over the two days, you’ll learn how to prepare and handle engraving tools, experiment with a variety of design transfer techniques, and work with four different gravers to produce five or more traditional cuts. By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence and core skills needed to begin adding engraved details to your own jewellery pieces.

You’re welcome to bring along your own gravers, but there’s no need as all tools will be provided.

Please note: This course focuses on introductory engraving techniques and does not include letter engraving. Lettering is taught in a separate, more advanced class designed for students who have completed the beginner course.
