Please come to the course with some rough drawings of your ideas (they don’t need to be perfect, you do not have to be a skilled artist, however it will assist you with your initial design plans).

A simple case of purchasing some wire, prepping yours ends, bending it up, soldering it together and shaping, and it’s complete?

But what if the customer wants something a bit different?  Perhaps they require a reverse D band 8 x 1.8, size W or a trapezoid profile 3 x 2 mm, size J? How would you make these shapes by hand? How do you calculate the amount of metal you need to buy?

In this class we are going to look at how to make unusual shaped bands from scratch using nothing but 6 x 6 mm square silver stock.
