What does the day involve?
During this one day workshop, you will learn to create your very own spinner ring. A spinner ring is a wide band ring with flared edges which holds thinner loose rings onto it which are able to spin freely.
You will be shown a wide variety of jewellery making techniques including sawing (piercing) the silver, texturing the metal, soldering techniques, filing, shaping the metal and polishing. You will also learn how to size a ring. You will have access to a range of tools, the rolling mill, hydraulic press and patterned stamps to not only make your rings unique, but to allow you to have a full busy workshop experience learning a multitude of skills.
